Home and field services

Each brand you acquire can book jobs from its own site within weeks.

Calls land in ServiceTitan, or the system you dispatch from, with their source attached. Credits, rebates and offers on the site are ones a homeowner can still get.

We do this under your web firm and your marketing firm, not instead of them: five things kept right on the site, week after week.

What failing looks like

Two patterns from the sites we read, redrawn without names: an offer for a federal credit that has ended, and pages that disappeared in a redesign.

Anonymized example from our reads: a banner offering heat pump rebates and tax credits after the federal credit ended, and a page from 2025 that now shows not found

The five checks

Each check reads your site from outside, the way a homeowner or a property manager meets it. Under each is what failing looked like on a site we read on 31 October and 1 November 2026, with the company's name left out.

  1. 01 Named in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google Maps results in your towns

    What passes

Asked for a company like yours in your towns, ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's map results name you.

    What failing looked like

A commercial landscaper working in five states. Asked twice which companies do design, build and maintenance across those states, one ChatGPT answer named two rivals and the other said it could not verify one company doing the three. Neither named the landscaper, and its homepage title and main heading say Welcome.

  2. 02 Offers and rebates still available

    What passes

Credits, rebates, financing and warranties on the site match what a customer can get today.

    What failing looked like

An HVAC company of about 200 people. Its homepage and three other pages offer up to 2,000 dollars in heat pump rebates and tax credits. The federal credit behind that offer ended for equipment placed in service after 31 December 2025.

  3. 03 A call or a request from each page

    What passes

A phone number to tap and a request button on the pages people land on, so a customer on a phone reaches you in one step.

    What failing looked like

A mechanical contractor of about 750 people. The homepage has no number to tap, so a facility manager with a down chiller has to find the Contact page first.

  4. 04 Old pages redirected after a redesign

    What passes

Pages that earned visits and links stay live, or send visitors on to the page that replaced them.

    What failing looked like

A commercial roofer. 22 of 29 pages that were live in 2025 now show a not found page or the homepage, its services page among them, and an awards page that was still live in January 2026.

  5. 05 DMARC on your domain and supported software

    What passes

Your domain asks inboxes to refuse mail forged in your name, and the site runs releases that still get security updates.

    What failing looked like

A plumbing, heating and electrical company has no DMARC record, so an invoice forged in its name can still reach a homeowner. A mechanical contractor runs WordPress 6.1.16, ten releases behind the current 7.1.4.

What we found on 10 home and field services sites

HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing and landscaping companies in the US, 200 to 3,200 people each, read from outside on 31 October and 1 November 2026.

Of 10 home and field services sites read on 31 October and 1 November 2026, how many showed each finding: Software behind its current release, 4; Title or heading empty, a greeting or cut off, 4; Lost 13 to 22 of the pages they had in 2025, 3; No DMARC record, or one set to p=none, 3; No phone number to tap on the homepage, 2; WordPress login names at a public address, 2; Still offers a federal credit that ended, 1
  • 4 run software that is behind: WordPress three to ten releases back, a popup plugin far behind its current version, or PHP 7.4, which stopped getting security updates in November 2022.
  • 4 have a homepage title or main heading that is empty, a greeting, or cut off before it names the trade.
  • 3 lost 13 to 22 of the 29 or 30 pages they had live in 2025. Those addresses now show a not found page or the homepage.
  • 3 have no DMARC record, or one set to p=none, so mail forged in their name can still reach customers.
  • 2 have no phone number to tap on the homepage.
  • 2 publish their WordPress login names at a public address.
  • 1 still offers a federal heat pump credit that ended with 2025.

Counted from our notes on each site, which keep the two or three strongest findings, so the true counts can be higher. Sites change, and some of these may have been corrected since.

How it works

Three steps: send the domain, it is reviewed and read from outside, the five checks arrive by email
  1. Send your domain

Your company's website, a work email and three short questions.

  2. We review it and read the site

From outside, the way a customer meets it. Nothing to install and no access needed.

  3. We email your five checks

Each marked pass or fail with what we saw. If it fits, we offer a time with the team.

Questions

What does the work cost?

The work behind these checks starts at $10,000 a month, and its scope comes from what the checks find.

What do you need from us?

Your website and a work email. The checks read the site from outside, so we ask for no logins, access or data.

What do the five checks cover?

Named in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google Maps results in your towns, offers and rebates still available, a call or a request from each page, old pages redirected after a redesign, DMARC on your domain and supported software, each marked pass or fail with what we saw.

Who is this for?

Owners and operators of home and field services companies, including groups that buy other brands, whose sites take calls and bookings.

What happens after I send the domain?

We review each request. If it fits, we send the checks and offer a time with the team.

Do you replace our web or marketing firm?

No. We work under your web firm and your marketing firm and keep five things right on the site, week after week.
